Innovations in Telehealth is a two day HRSA/OHIT sponsored EHR workshop. This workshop, for providers, IT staff, administrators and educators will feature national and international telehealth experts sharing their knowledge and practical strategies for succussfully incorporating telehealth in a variety of settings. The workshop will mix presentation, demonstrations and discussions.
Topics will include examples of telehealth applications; strategies for implementing telehealth from idea to outcomes; how to select the right technology for the right needs; getting stakeholders buy-in; preparing the new providers; policies and regulations; evaluation and research strategies; program sustainability; telehealth tools and resources. This workshop is designed to promote leaders in telehealth innovations across the continuum from design to preparing the new telehealth providers.
